Tori Ellison

Tori Ellison, a painter and mixed-media artist who makes prints, sculpture, and installations, is a MacDowell, Blue Mountain, and Women’s Studio Workshop fellow and former Guggenheim and Philadelphia Museum of Art editor.

Her work has been exhibited in eleven states and abroad; Portland Art Museum’s Oregon Biennial, Bellevue Art Museum Annual, Seattle University’s Lee Center, Seattle Art Museum Gallery, NYU’s Grey Art Gallery, PaineWebber Art Gallery, New York, and Salt Lake Art Center. Her work is collected by the City of Seattle, Vulcan Northwest, Jordan Schnitzer Print Collection, and Portland Art Museum.

She earned her B.A. in art and art history from Reed College and M.F.A. from School of Visual Arts, New York, with further work at Cranbrook and UW Dept. of Sculpture.
