Rehearsing for The Passion of Saint Thomas More

Wearing a mask that stands two feet above their own heads, each vocalist must explore a new sense of proportion in their movements.  Even subtle gestures and postural shifts are magnified with the headpieces. Christy collaborates with the vocalists (Kathy Hanson as Thomas More below) to find authentic gestures with clear dramatic intentions,  and then simplifies the gestures down to their core or essences.

David Stutz (King Henry VIII) works on a solo while Christy continues work with Kathy.

Linda Strandberg (Margaret)

Each character also plays a Dark Angel. Christy works with Kathy and Linda on mask and hand placement.
